disclaimer: yes I have four Christmas trees...and if I play my cards right...I may have five before the holidays are over :) one can never have too many Christmas trees....
this is our dining room Christmas tree. Done in slivers/golds/white. This tree is special to me because this is the tree I talked Matthew into buying when we were dating. Poor guy didn't have a Christmas decoration one, and I talked him into buying this bad boy and we decorated it together.
This one is our newest Christmas tree. 6.5 feet tall and we call it the "everything goes tree" Though it is decorated to match our TV room (blues, oranges, reds, greens) if you look close you will see random ornaments that have a meaning to us. This is probably my favorite tree because I LOVE pulling ornaments out of the box and reminiscing when we got them. From our first ornament, to the ornament we bought on our honeymoon, to ornaments that some of my speech kids have given me, there are several that are sentimental to us. And Matthew LOVES nutcrackers so there's an army of those.
the top is decorated with the orange feather balls I got for 80% off at Hobby Lobby because they were considered "thanksgiving decor" score.
see dwight?
This tree is in our kitchen. We call it the Peacock tree. This tree has been with me ever since college. When I lived with Lauren on Joyner Street we had a peacock tree. I also had it at my grandparents house in graduate school. When the house burned down on halloween, I used a gift card from my co-workers to replace it, so it too has a special meaning :)
This tree is in our fire place room. I BEGGED Matthew for this tree last year because I felt like the fireplace room needed one. Lucky for me Matthew LOVES indirect light, and he loves me so eventually he gave me the go ahead on this one. I LOVE the flowers on this tree. They are big and red and are weaved in and out of our gold and red mesh. Love this tree too!
This is our mantle. For some reason the pictures didn't come out as good as I wanted but you can still see the maroon/gold that matches the tree.
This was my newest addition to our Christmas decor. Thanks to pintrest, I think everyone's Christmas will be a little craftier thanks to Pintrest. These are old wine bottles, spray painted and rolled in Epsom salt, then filled with glittery pokies and placed on some satin fabric. Pretty spiffy eh? You can also see our puzzle :)
cool Christmas centerpiece with the Creasman Puzzle :)
This one went a little different. Originally I had planned on painting these too, but when I set them out just to see what it would look like, I fell in love with the green colored wine bottles and decided not to paint them. They go perfect with my Peacock tree!
